The lava rock catering grill is suitable for the cooking of meat, fish and many other foods. Its use in restaurants, canteens and pubs has demonstrated its many advantages, such as extreme ease of cleaning, high cooking speed, practical use and saving of energy costs. Just as important are the full flavour and absolute hygiene of the foods grilled on it. It operates with gas-fired heating of the lavastone located on a supporting grill in high-quality steel. Above the hot lava-stone there is a patented cooking grill in cast iron, with these characteristics: - double surface, reversible for cooking meat on one side and fish on the other one; - tilted position to allow fat to run off into the container at the base of the unit.
The double housing prevents overheating of the outside of the grill. The gas is lit with an electronic device, and bottled gas or methane can be used, by means of an approved-type regulation valve. The container at the base of the unit collects excess fat and cooking detritus. The fully-independent burners are made in aluminium-coated steel, and are fitted with a stainless protection that prevents the blocking of the jets. The gas regulation controls are located on top, permitting quick and simple adjustment.
